FAQ

 

  • "How do I get to your Hotel from the Airport?"
  1. There are several options for transport from the Hobart Airport. If you are driving from the airport, take Davey Street (main city access). Keep in right lane, turning right into Elizabeth Street enter the 'bus mall area' ignoring the 'do not enter' signs! Park in the loading bay outside the front of the hotel and our friendly staff will explain our parking to you.
  2. The Airporter bus service meets all flights at the airport and brings guests to our door ($12.50 p/p). There is no need to book a seat, as they meet all arriving flights.
  3. Taxis are also familiar with our address - just mention Quest Savoy. (Between $30-$40)
  • "Do your rooms and apartments have Spa Baths?"

              Studio Deluxe Apartmetments have jet baths (bath sized with spa jets) and our Executive Suites have large corner spa's. One bedroom Apartments have showers only.  

  • "Do you have Apartments with Wheel Chair Access or Disability aids?"

            We have 2 disability access apartments. These apartments have full wheel chair access, a walk-in shower, grab bars, and wall rails in the bathroom, as well as a non-slip floor surface. These apartments are available for either double or twin bedding.

  • "Do you have Car Parking? And how much would it cost?"

              We offer car parking at the nearby Market Place Car Park, (24hr access, secure parking), if required for $5 per exit.

  • "Do you have internet facilities from your hotel?"

              All of our rooms and apartments have High Speed Wireless Broadband Access - brought to you by Azure Wireless. They also have a phone line available for the dial-up facility. www.azure.com.au .

There is a computer availbale in reception if you don't have your own, for guest use with internet & printing facilities. 

  • "How often will my room be serviced?"

               Your room will be serviced daily by our Housekeeping Staff. Linen will be changed on major services weekly. If you require extra services or any extra items - please contact reception. We will not disturb you on Sundays or Public holidays. NOTE: Rooms will not be serviced if the Do Not Disturb sign is placed on the door.

  • "Is Linen provided?"

                 All linen is provided for you, how ever if you do require any extra items, please feel free to contact reception.

  • "Are there Minibars in all rooms? Can I have it removed if we don't wish to use it?"

                There are Minibars in all of our rooms and apartments. These items will be replaced daily and added to your room account as you use them. There is a price list of all items in your room. If you do not wish to use the minibar and would like it removed, please just let us know prior to your arrival, and we will have it removed for you.

  • "Are there Hair Dryers in the rooms or apartments?"

                Yes, all our rooms and apartments contain Hair Dryers in the bathroom.

  • "Are there Washing and/or Ironing Facilites in the room or apartments?"

                 Unfortunately we do not have laundry facilities inside our apartments, but we have a fully equipt guest laundries on the 3rd floor of our Hotel. This contains coin operated Washers & Dryer Machines, and you can purchase washing powder from reception if neccessary. All our rooms and apartments contain their own Ironing Board and Iron.

  • "Is your Hotel Air Conditioned?"

Yes. All our rooms and apartments contain individually controlled Air Conditioning Systems.
